Understanding and applying the Digital Information Fluency (DIF) Process

In this training course you will learn to:

  • Power Search for Digital Resources
  • Evaluate Digital Materials
  • Use Digital Materials in an Ethical Manner

DIF Investigator training is made up of three modules. Each module consists of up to nine hours of learning experiences.

Objectives:

Expect to spend about 9 hours completing each of the DIF Modules. By the end of this Training Course you will be able to:

  • Search more efficiently using a focused strategy.
  • Quickly evaluate the accuracy and authority of web resources.
  • Use digital resources in your research process in an ethical manner.

Getting Started:

  • You progress through the training one step at a time.
  • Click on the Search Tab to get started. 
  • Once you start a module it is best to complete it.
  • Repeat the module as many times as you wish.
