Training Mission: Author Booklist

A query is what you type into the search box on your search engine. A powerful query is made with the key words from your questions; arranged in a way that best finds the information you want. You can also use queries to search a website if the site has its own search box feature.

First: Study the What is a Query ? MicroModule: Click here to Begin.

Click on word symbol to download word document. On Your Worksheet:

Select one of the authors from this list. Place an X in front of your choice:

Start by explaining how you found the A9 Search Engine.

Keep notes on the exact wording of your queries.

List each query and the changes you make to find your author's information.

Create a booklist:

  • List 3 book titles written by the author.
  • For each title include the publication date and publisher.
