08.1 Building the Project Search History
Conduct another Project search, recording your Search History. Search for additional information
and content for your Project.
- Use the Internet
Search Wizard to search for additional resources pertinent to your Project;
- Record the query terms, any operators or optional features you use in your searches (The Search Wizard "this is what you query looks like" makes this easy);
- Keep track of all the URLs you explore;
- Write brief comments regarding the applicability of each result to your
problem;
- Number each search instance (query-url-comments) on a separate, numbered line;
- Conduct multiple searches using as many of the top ten search tips as necessary.
- Continue this process until you find at least
three additional, relevant--and in your initial judgment--reliable web sites applicable to your
project.
If necessary, review search history procedures from course activity 04.2.
