Beyond the Basics
Now that you have completed 03.1 Practice Search and interacted with others in the course about your experience (Week 3 Forum), this is an excellent time to consider reviewing and introducing additional techniques and strategies involved in efficient searching. Join your instructor for an on-line, real-time lecture (more like a "texture") in the Main Chat Room on Wednesday, October 19, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. This does not require audio, just the ability to view the text presentation and ask any questions you may have.
We will unpack and analyze one of the searches you encountered during the course pre-test and look ahead to the next two practice searches.
In case you cannot attend live, you may enter the Main Chat Room anytime to read the transcript of the session. You should find the information helpful as you conduct the upcoming searches.
